In January, my position at VEGlobal changed. I am now working part-time at Domingo Savio and part-time as VE’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator. This makes my time with the kids at D-Sav feel even more special while dually allowing me to utilize my Public Relations degree. I am now in charge of producing and writing the VE Newsletter which you can view by clicking here. On a similar note, VEGlobal is launching a campaign called Share Miles, Share Opportunities to raise frequent flier miles for its volunteers. The goal is to raise as many miles as we can as an incentive for our volunteers to stay involved in the organization as professional staff. To participate you pledge the purchase, sharing and/or transfer of American Airlines, Air Canada, British Airways, Delta, LAN, or United airline miles to VEGlobal. If you think you might have some extra airline miles you are not going to use, or if you know someone else who might be able to help, your donations would really help sustain our fledgling nonprofit.
